My people, where is love found? This is a ponderous question that not even us, the Joy Vibes, can objectively answer. There’s no specific in this world, and I’m open to suggestions, where love resides. Perhaps, the only place where love should constantly flow is in your heart. True. Even when the world gives you a million reasons to hate yourself or others; let your heart overflow with streams of love. In the Catholic faith, a subtle reminder to its faithful indicates where we see selfless love, we see the face of God. A believer or not, such is the aspiration level for love. Aim for it!

People say how love struck at the wrong time. Tough luck, huh? Here are a few ways to find love. Go hard and find your soulmate. Here at the Joy Vibes, we celebrate love. Any time, any day.
Before answering the question on where to find love, perhaps considering the how is a better approach. Here are a few ways you can find love.
How to find love
If you are looking for love, these are a few things to remember.
A lot of people find it difficult to find love because they don’t know how to give love. If you can’t give love, you won’t find love. It’s that simple. A good place to start giving love is by volunteering. Give your time to a cause you are passionate about. Soup kitchens, animal shelters, the elderly in nursing homes, children’s hospitals are some of the places where you can find love.
2. Love yourself
How can you love someone if you don’t love yourself? Learning to love and appreciate yourself is crucial if you want to find love. This doesn’t mean being narcissistic. It means having a healthy level of self-esteem and self-worth. If you don’t love yourself, you will find it difficult to find someone who loves you.
3. Be patient
Love is worth the wait. Don’t settle for anything less than what you deserve. When you find love, it will be worth the wait.
4. Be positive
Having a positive attitude is attractive. A lot of people find love because they are optimistic and have a positive outlook in life. Being positive also means being happy with who you are.
5. Be yourself
Don’t try to be someone you’re not. Find love by being yourself. Be authentic and genuine, and you will find someone who loves you for who you are.
6. Take care of yourself
How can you expect someone to love you if you don’t love yourself? Take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. Eat healthy, exercise, and find ways to relax and de-stress. When you take care of yourself, you will find it easier to find someone who loves and cares for you.
I must insist on this point. Some people make love their ultimate existence goal. That’s sad. Live your life freely and with grace. If love finds you; savor it. If not, live your life without any regrets.
7. Have fun
Find love by enjoying your life and having fun. Go out with friends, try new things, travel, and explore. Live your life to the fullest and find love in the process. In a society grappling with unprecedented economic pressure, war, and a pandemic all at once; having fun sounds like a cliché yet have fun we must! Despite life’s challenges, try to be happy.
How do I meet the love of my life?
No idea. It just happens!
Trust your instincts to show you when the right person comes along. By now, you’ve learned love doesn’t substitute happiness. Pegging your happiness on finding love is injurous and limiting to your potential. Let love be a bonus!
No matter where you find love, the most important thing is that you are happy with the person you are with. Love yourself first and find someone who loves you for who you are. Be patient, be positive, and have fun. And don’t forget to give love!
Radical self-love and care
When you find love for yourself, it becomes so much easier to find love in another. If you don’t know how to find or have trouble showing love to yourself, get to it! You’re worthy of being loved. Every day, find at least one thing that makes you happy and do it!
